Do you want to increase and improve your vocabulary in English?

Quizlet.com is one great resource for learning and practicing new vocabulary words. It has thousands of flash cards for different majors. Most of those flash cards include the definition of the vocabulary in English and in other different language, the part of speech, and a sentence so you can learn how to use the new vocabulary correctly. However, since most of those flash cards were created by ESL students, it is imperative that you look for the meaning and the use of the vocabulary in your dictionary before you start memorizing them. Quizlet.com also allows you to make your own flash cards, create a group, and invite your friends so that you can all share a great list of new vocabulary.

Another great resource for learning and practicing new vocabulary words is Vocabulary.com. It is not only help you to increase and improve your vocabulary in English, but also it helps you to improve the skill of guessing the meaning from the context. When you enter vocabulary.com, it gives you a sentence with a new word in a bold font and 4 answers to choose the right meaning of the word. If you answer right it will gives you another question with higher level, but if you answer wrong, it will gives you the meaning of the new vocabulary. Moreover, it has a dictionary where you can look for the meaning of the new vocabulary, part of speech, synonym, and antonym.

    Also, I think "Vocabulary.com" website is very useful. We can learn and memorize lots of vocabularies with fun.

  2. I use "quizlet.com", too. I think it is a very useful learning method to remember new vocabulary. Maybe you think you have remember your new vocabulary, but in fact, you are not really familiar with that so you can use "test" or "learn" to make sure your level. Actually I always create my own flash cards. I have 61 sets and my son has 78 sets. Thanks for the website to help our English learning.
